Whether it’s the start of a new decade or the start of my second 50 years, I am prompted to take a deeper than normal inventory of where I am in my life, something I want to do more often. My journey to becoming the Shelia I have grown comfortable with continues and allows me the opportunity to reinvent my life daily and push onward to become better and love life even more than I already do! I am promising this year to take this opportunity and along the way discover new ways of demonstrating my potential in my family, my work, my self-development. It’s never too soon or too late to make this a priority in life.

I love the journey most of the time, and when I find it rough, I am inspired by those around me – especially those who live and work at Villa – who are both ahead and behind me in working out life’s great adventure with vitality and zest. I am more than ever convinced that being with those who are intent on building an energy-filled future puts me happily on the spot to come up to their standard. That is one important value of community.

I am eager to embrace change this year, as long as it means growth. I plan to do it in little ways and big, through physical and mental exercise as well as through conscious character development. I am jazzed about making each day a new beginning, and I plan to look back at this coming year and say, “WOW!” Please join me on this journey.
